2. What data we process

2.1 Server logs

When you visit www.pipelet.com, our hosting infrastructure records the following information in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer, user agent. This data is used solely for technical debugging, security analysis and abuse prevention. Logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of our website).

2.2 Contact form

When you use the contact form we process the details you provide: name, email address, optionally company, topic, and message. We use this data exclusively to process your request and to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). We erase the data as soon as processing is complete, at the latest 12 months after final correspondence, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

2.3 Cookies and local storage

This website uses only technically necessary cookies — for example to remember your selected language. No third-party tracking, no advertising cookies, no Google Analytics, no social media pixels. You can configure your browser to block cookies; the language switcher will then reset on every visit, but the site remains fully usable.

2.4 Hosting and data transfer

This website is hosted on German servers. We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU/EEA. Data is shared with third parties only where legally required.
